FPAA recently welcomed Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva to its headquarters for a productive meeting with FPAA members and staff to discuss several key issues impacting the fresh produce industry.

The discussion focused on important trade priorities, including tomato duties, the upcoming review of the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), border operations, and the vital role cross-border produce trade plays in Arizona’s economy. The meeting continued conversations that began during recent advocacy visits in Washington, D.C., reinforcing FPAA’s commitment to ensuring the voice of the produce industry is heard by policymakers.

FPAA appreciates Congresswoman Grijalva taking the time to meet with our members and looks forward to continuing to work together to advance policies that support a strong, efficient, and competitive fresh produce supply chain.
